Today I went to the pet food store and immediately saw a lovely kitty on the shelf so I pet her and she climbed right up my arm and hung out on my shoulders purring like crazy for my entire stay in the shop! I was thrilled
and on to anything else.
And so the last months have been so busy I have not had any quality art time for myself!
Some side notes from my goings on.
Threw my first (pot friendly) art show at Kindred Cafe on December 6th. 10 artists and an entire three floors open to guests to stay and hang out for the event. The idea of not involving alcohol as very important for me, as well as leaving out every aspect of pretension. (see links below to check out the artists)

The evening was a huge success with a much bigger turn out than I had ever anticipated... Which came as a great relief to me as my stress levels reached a maximum when my two closest friends in the event decided they would turn in their work within an hour of the opening, and another as the event was starting!! After spending all day sweating and running around downtown like madwoman and hanging art work by myself all fucking day I was basically on my knees thanking my friend Maria [link] that she was there to help with random details. It was very satisfying to see crowds of people having a great time smoking pot and enjoying the art. It really was a dream come true! The night would not have been the same if my boyfriend had not saved the day with 5 delicious trays of toronto's finest thai food from his restaurant Mengrai!

I am hoping to throw another some time as the response was great and I have many artists wanting in on the next one already!

I am also looking at doing a solo show back in my hometown of Niagara Falls in the near future!

Otherwise I have finally accepted that Marvel may have some comics of value to me after being lent Frank Millers Daredevil. I have also just started reading Garth Ennis' run on Punisher which is proving to kick some literal ass, as well as Kick Ass which I have also just started to read and am now cool enough to be anticipating the movie with all the other comic folk.

After joining a few DevART groups I am shocked to see how much more my work is getting out there... I had many groups on my old account but hadn't bothered this time around for some reason which is not making sense to me at this point.
I really would encourage the joining of groups as I can't believe how many more happy messages I have logging in than I did a week ago.
If anyone knows some good groups I would like, particularly fashion groups, please let me know. As I don't have 1239 hours to peruse 12345 random groups. Though I did spend an amount of hours.. I did not get very far.
